As a freelance full-stack software developer, I have years of experience developing databases. My expertise lies in relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server & MySQL. But I also have some experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB.
I have experience writing efficient database SQL queries and setting up database structures. I also link database tables to object-oriented classes, such as Java classes. I usually do this with ORM (object-relational mapping) solutions such as Hibernate. I also have experience with database migrations, management and performing updates.
